Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Crane Boom attachment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires a strong understanding of crane operations, safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team on construction or industrial sites.
Responsibilities:
• Operate forklift with attachment to lift, move, and position loads as required by project specifications.
• Conduct pre-operational checks to ensure they are in safe working condition.
• Follow all safety regulations and protocols while operating equipment.
• Communicate effectively with ground crew using hand signals or radio communication.
• Maintain accurate records of crane operations and inspections.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on crane equipment as needed.
• Ensure the work area is clean and free from hazards before and after operations.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions as required.
Experience:
• Proven experience as a Forklift Boom attachment Operator or similar role is preferred.
• Valid forklift operator license.
• Experience Loading free Falls.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to crane operations.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand load charts is beneficial.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness skills are essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Shift: Monday – Friday 7am to 3:30pm
